This shield is not what I expected. It appears in the photo to be rigid plastic atleast a few millemeters thick when the pieces are actually only paper thin and flimsy. Also I was hoping that the scroll wheel cover would overlay the entire wheel to prevent dust and grim from getting in. It does not. It is multiple pieces as appears in the photo and will only protect from scratches. I believe I was charged like 4 or 5 dollars for shipping, I'm sure atleast 1/2 of that went as profit to the seller. I did not end up even using this product. I recommend the clear acrylic and brushed-metal case by Belkin. That has a dust free click wheel protection and snaps together in about 1 second.

I cleaned up the extensive scratches on my iPod and then put this screen protector on it and it looks like new. And my iPod was in pretty bad shape! There are a few air bubbles under the screen protector which I can't get out but it still looks way better than before and having had this same brand screen protector on my iPhone for about 7 months now, there's not a scratch on it or on the protector. This is well worth it.

This screen protector works really well, fits the screen perfectly with overall protection (4 protectors). Price is reasonable and on time delivery. I would buy another pack for my sister. Excellent!
 Good, but back shield is too large. January 14, 2008
It is a good shield so far, but the back cover is too large and hangs off the rounded edges of my 5 gen. 30 gigabyte iPod. But the front cover fits nicely. I'm glad I bought this product though, even if the back doesn't fit all too well.

If you don't have about half an hour, a sterile environment, and a lot of patience do not buy this. I had the front on with the 3 pieces and without any fingerprints. Unfortunately, when I tried to put the back protector on it was a pain. First, I couldn't get it directly in the middle so that it wasn't on the curve. Second, when you take it off to reposition it correctly, it brings some of the white residue from the apple symbol and text on the back of the iPod. Third, I got lovely fingerprints and a single tiny dog hair under the sticky part. Fourth, it takes a while to get those bubbles out with a blow dryer. Fifth, it had more bubbles than any screen protector I have ever used. If you ever get a protector of any kind just get one that protects the SCREEN. Not the whole thing, because they usually aren't very good fits. I got this because it is impossible to find a case that fits an FM transmitter. So now I have to take it out of the case I have every time now to listen to it in the car. Just know what you are buying beforehand. I don't know why all of these reviews are pristine for this product when there are a lot of caveats for this product.
