Amazon.com Product Description Weighing a mere 3.9 ounces, the DT-210V is small enough to fit in a shirt or jacket pocket and powerful enough to deliver TV audio (channels 2 to 13) and PLL-synthesized AM/FM stereo radio. A built-in speaker affords headphones-free listening, and 90-minute auto shut-off lets you fall asleep to the radio without fear of waking up to dead batteries. You get 25 memory presets (and auto scan) to help you zip right to preferred stations. The radio comes with stereo ear buds and a removable belt clip, as well as a trailing antenna. DBB (Deep Bass Boost) enhances the sonic low end, while a stereo-mono switch improves reception when needed. Measuring a mere 1.5 by 3 by 0.6 inches, the unit runs on two AAA batteries (not included). A low-battery indicator offers a helpful hint on when it's wise to carry replacements.

Love This Little Radio October 6, 2008 This radio was just what I was looking for in a compact radio. Its reception is great! It is so small that I can carry in my pocket at work and listen to my favorite ballgames.
Comparison with the Sony Walkman. October 2, 2008 I bought the Sangean to replace my Sony Walkman radio, which after ten years of brutal treatment, finally became unusable. The little Sony had been dropped, bashed up against hard objects, thrown into a bag and forgotten for months, left in the sun in the car -- you name it. The belt clip broke a few years ago, but it kept ticking. Finally, I think there must be a crack in the circuit board, because it randomly just cuts off. (It still works if I remain stationary). It was time for a new one.
I came onto the web site to buy another Sony, but saw that the Sangean was available for slightly more money. Since I remembered the Sangean commercials from the Art Bell show years ago, I decided to give that brand a whirl. After two weeks of use, it seems to be doing well. No regrets, but I do note two possible negatives:
1. It does not appear to be as structurally strong as the Sony. It has a big plastic face that seems more vulnerable to "smashes" (which haven't occurred yet). On the other hand, the belt clip on the Sangean seems stronger than the Sony.
2. The controls seem to be a little more complicated than the Sony -- so for the technically challenged, the Sony might be a better buy.
I note no real difference in the reception. It gets weak to nonexistent in the gym just like the Sony did. All in all, no regrets. We'll see how well the Sangean holds up.
Digital Radio September 30, 2008 Radio works well. Delivery was prompt. The only problem I have with it is that the earphones are too big for my ears and keep falling out.
did not live up to the hype September 23, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Read reviews and was impressed with am receptivity and use of external speaker. Main use is to listen to ballgames on my patio. The radio am reception was worse than 20 yr old ge I had hoped to replace and speaker was simply horrible except for stongest stations. This product was returned.
Exactly as advertised September 22, 2008
This radio was exactly what I needed.. It's small enough to take walking and the range of reception is wonderful. It was everything that it was advertised to be.
