It handles not only your DVD-Videos (both NTSC- and PAL-formatted discs, depending on your TV), but it plays your music, too--everything from standard CDs to home-burned CD-Rs, CD-RWs, and MP3-encoded CDs. Further, you can load a disc brimming with digital photos for custom slide shows in the comfort of your home theater. An onscreen display simplifies setup and operation, and the unit comes with a compact, full-function remote control. Other features include parental controls (with PIN lock), frame-by-frame slow motion, picture zoom (2x, 4x), and multiple-angle viewing (with applicable discs). Like to travel?  Good item for the price. August 18, 2008
I like the product so far. It's a bit too bulky but it's just as described of course. The price is perfect for the unit so I like it a ton.
 It stopped working after a week August 18, 2008
I bought this one and it worked for a week and stopped working after a week. When I put the DVD it revolves and revolves for ever. I wont buy this product again and I dont recomment to buy it.Its waste of time and Money.

Perfect DVD player for the casual DVD watcher. It's small, so it doesn't take up much space, easy to read buttons on the remote, very easy to figure out. Good for yourself, or as a gift to anybody of any age that you know! Fantastic.
You get what you pay for August 11, 2008
I bought this because we were looking for a cheap, 'no frills' DVD player. It won't play at least 1/3 of the DVDs I own- discs that have never had a problem in numerous other players. The ones that it WILL play, it skips around a lot. Really inferior product. I would warn anybody off of this one- drop the extra 10 bucks and buy ANY other DVD player, or you will be sorry you didn't.
 Don't get this one if you want to play PAL discs on NTSC TV August 2, 2008

The NTSC PAL conversion on this model doesn't work properly, I've tried it on several different units. If you play a PAL disc and convert to NTSC, a pulsating blurriness affects the image. Spend $20 more and get something better.
