microsoft office August 17, 2008 Great product. My son put it on his PC and says he really likes the format and the speed. Likes the new shortcuts, too.
Not worth it August 17, 2008 Very confusing to use. Can't find half of the commands to complete a project. Certainly not worth it's price tag. Stay with 2003 version.
microsoft home and student August 16, 2008 I like the product, though I wish it included the publisher feature as well..something that would be very handy for todays students considering all the web publishing many of our courses seem to require these days.
The tech support through misrosoft was wonderful, kudos to their cutomer service department helping me through the bugs related to uninstalling my old program and installing the new program properly. *thumbs up*
Poor conversion, inconvenient tool bar August 16, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Office 2007 has an issue with its previous versions of Office. You cannot merely save a document and email it to a person who has an older Office product. This is an obvious ploy to make every one buy the new version. There is an option around this, but it ought not need an option. Also, you cannot simply email a document as text as in previous versions of Office. You MUST email any document as an attachment.
And one major problem is that many repetitive features have been hidden away in unrecognizable places. The toolbars are difficult to understand if you have become used to previous versions of Office.
Just let me say, I do all my own computer repair, and I do it better than most computer repair shops. I am computer literate to the max. Office 2007 is not as user friendly as previous versions of Office. However, you can bet Microsoft doenst care
Amazing! August 15, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I love this product! Once you get used to the changes in formatting from Office 2003, it's very user-friendly. I would highly recommend this product to anyone!
